Complex has published its updated list of the Top 30 Celebrity Jewelers in the world, and A Jewellers is ranked number two.
In April we were named at number nine. Six months later we are second in the world. For a business built in London over 18 years, from Hatton Garden to stages and stadiums across the globe, this is a moment we are incredibly proud of.
What Complex said
The ranking, written by Complex's Mike DeStefano and Vikki Tobak, is based on the work itself: the pieces, the ideas behind them, and the artists wearing them. Complex credits A Jewellers with building a reputation in the UK for years and now earning attention far beyond it. Three pieces were singled out:
- Central Cee's Queen Elizabeth II pendant, a three-dimensional portrait of the late Queen, which Complex called "one of the craziest custom pieces we have seen in years".
- Burna Boy's London Stadium pendant, a replica of the stadium he sold out twice, set with 600 carats of natural VVS diamonds over a kilo of gold. Read the story behind it.
- Our collaboration with Slawn, the London artist, which turned his work into wearable art for Playboi Carti.
Complex closed the entry with a line we will not forget: "When the GOAT approves, you're doing something right."

18 years in the making
A Jewellers was founded in London 18 years ago with one idea: a custom piece should tell the story of the person wearing it. That idea has carried us from our first commissions to pieces for Central Cee, Burna Boy, Rema, Playboi Carti and many of the biggest artists in the world, each one designed around a moment in that artist's life.
The pieces Complex picked out are some of the most ambitious we have ever made. A portrait of a monarch in three dimensions. A stadium with 80,000 seats, built to hang from a chain. An artist's work translated into diamonds and gold. They were possible because of 18 years of learning what a piece can be, and because of clients who trusted us with ideas nobody had tried before.
The same approach, every piece
What put A Jewellers at number two is the same thing that goes into every piece we make. It starts with a conversation about who you are and what the piece needs to say, then a sketch, then a one-off made exactly to your brief. Whether it is a portrait of the Queen or a pendant with your own name on it, the process and the attention are the same.
Thank you to every client who has trusted us with a piece that means something, and to the team who have made them happen. Number two in the world is a result we are proud of, and we are only getting started.
